9th of June 2018
On June 9, 2018, the Holy Family University – Batroun (USF), held on its premises at Batroun – North Lebanon, a scientific day during which USF Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning was inaugurated. This event was held with the presence of Sister Marie Antoinette Saade, The General Secretary of the Congregation of Maronite Sisters, Sister Hilda Chelala, President of USF, Mr Marcelino El Hark, President of the association of municipalities of Batroun region, Mr François Mabille, General Secretary of FIUC, Dr Aref Al Soufi, Director of National Erasmus+ Office in Lebanon, Dr Georges Yahchouchy, Provost of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and coordinator of E-Taleb project, Mr Marwan Rached, director of IDOL, representative of the German company ZEISS and other interested in the field of research.
Speakers presented papers aligned with the title of the day, and the last session was dedicated for distinguished USF students who presented their studies and prizes were distributed for a number of selected studies.
Then, all attendees were invited to the inauguration of the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning equipped by the Project E-TALEB co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
